Comments

An eclectic set of world music tracks in a vast range of styles and from all over the world. The majority of artists here I hadn't heard of before buying this double-CD, so I have to thank the compilers for luring me in with the likes of Enigma and Deep Forest in order to introduce me to some really great music.

One or two interesting things about the tracks I'd like to note:
"Sweet Lullaby" is a remix which isn't on World Mix, and uses the 4-beat drum fill famously used on Engima's first album.
Monsoon's "Ever So Lonely" was later sampled heavily for Jakatta's version titled "So Lonely".
"Wild Mountain Thyme" is a really cool and beautiful song.
"Soweto". WTF? Seriously.
