Artist: Jeff Clarkson
Botanica is two albums in one. The first is a tranquil, ambient music landscape. It hits the climax in "The Calling Part II", terminating at the end of Memories of Home.
Then we hit "Love Just Is" which is a more conventional pop-ish song, sort of in the theme of some of Mike Oldfield's mid-80s albums (Think "Innocent" crossed with "Horseback"). Vocally Jeff somewhat resembles Jon Anderson...
The rest of the album, barring "Botanica the Reprise", are vocal tracks, though a tad mellower than "Love Just Is". The last track recalls the flavour of the first half of the album.
