Comments

Similar to Odonata - lush, ambient soundscapes are always cool - but more peaceful. There are some excellent vocals, especially on tracks like Autumn Interlude and Elvensong, which help make Amethystium stand out from other artists of this genre. Autumn Interlude (the only track on the album with actual lyrics) is the best track on the album. I hope there are more like that on the next album...

Many of the samples used sound familiar (identifiably from Delerium and Enigma albums) meaning ultimately quite a lot of this music still sounds too much like Delerium during their Karma/Semantic Spaces phase. Whether or not this is necessarily a bad thing is up to the listener.
