Comments

A collection of cover versions recorded by Dutch musician Ed Starink (though each track is credited to the original composer). Notably nine of the seventeen tracks are originally by either Jarre or Vangelis, which I guess is hardly surprising, given the amount of high-quality music they've put out. Starink's covers are extremely good quality, respecting and often even improving on the source material.

The most interesting track for me is the cover of Tubular Bells. It's actually an abridged version of part 1, starting with the opening and finishing with the TB1 equivalent of The Bell, all synthesized, and it's pretty neat and makes a great climax to the album.

Like the other three albums in this series released by Dino music, no copyright date is on the CD - the date I've entered above is best-guess based on the overseas release date

This was, incidentally, the first CD I ever owned.
