Synthesizer god Jean Michel Jarre takes us on a tour of his greatest hits. As you'd expect from a career dating back to the 70s, this will take some time - just over an hour, in fact. I'm not sure if Jarre did any work on the music here, but it does sound remastered and possibly some bridging material between tracks added...

Jarre's work, as you'll be able to hear from this, varies quite a lot from the more conventional synthesizer work he's known for (Oxygene and Equinox) to the surreal ("Ethnicolor 1" and "London Kid" both make interesting use of the human voice, processed through a synthesizer of course, and "Moon Machine", er, yes) to pieces sounding more like stylised accoustics ("Calypso 1" is very Carribean!). A fascinating look at how Jarre's music has progressed.
