Comments

The density of classics increases. Unfortunately again the first 2/3 of the album sound like they should have been remastered. The Duran Duran track doesn't sound as good as the copy on Greatest, for instance. Footloose sounds like the aural equivalent of a cardboard cutout.

The good: The Cars' version of Drive was one of the main reasons I bought the box set.
The bad: There are some parts of the 80s music scene which weren't that great, and Wham is one of them.
The ugly: Who is Adrian Gurvitz and where did this dire track come from?
