Comments

Kraftwerk virtually invented electronic music, and this double-album is a compilation of what could be reasonably referred to as the best of their work culled from live concerts performed during their 2004 world tour. Being electronic, they can pretty much duplicate the sound of a studio album while in the field, so apart from the occasional audience enthusiasm, it's easy to forget it's a live album. No doubt it was an impressive light show.

Despite the fact that the style of music they've chosen tends towards a sterile feel, Kraftwerk succeed in injecting enough emotional content to keep it from sounding like it was written by an Atari.

Minimum - Maximum is a superb showcase of music which had a profound influence on the music industry.
