Comments
Not a bad followup to Jagged Little Pill - Alanis' second album still has hints of the same bitterness, but diffused over the massive length. It includes such hits as "Thank U" and a demo version of "Uninvited", along with other cool tracks ("Sympathetic Character", "So Pure", "Can't Not", "Would Not Come", etc).
Some of the tracks I'm still not keen on (I dislike the lyrics for "The Couch" for some reason) but certainly as good an album as her first. I still boggle that she put out a 75 minute album without it being a best-of or slathered with remixes. Supposed Former Infatuation Junkie is also her last really good release.
The CD itself has an artistic nude of Alanis printed on it, which probably looks highly amusing if you have one of those CD players where you can see the disc rotating.
