Comments

Björk's landmark first album after leaving Iceland was groundbreaking then and is still excellent today. My copy admittedly sounds like it needs remastering - Debut Live is superior in terms of sound quality - but is still extremely listenable.

Every track is unique, occupying its own world created by Björk's quirky vocals and a vast range of instruments. It switches effortlessly from the cheery pop of "There's More to Life Than This", to the simple and quiet harp of "Like Someone in Love", to the big-sound synthesized masterpiece "Big Time Sensuality". Favourite track: "Play Dead" with its dramatic strings.
